'American Idol' Wins Handily Again

The first American Idol results show carried FOX to a ratings win Wednesday night. The results show scored a 14.0/22 and 24.4 million viewers at 8 p.m., with no other network coming close. CBS was the best of the rest with "The New Adventures of Old Christine," 4.7/8, and "Gary Unmarried," 4.6/7. NBC's "Knight Rider" and a "Lost" rerun on ABC each drew a 3.6/6.

Honestly, I'd be curious to see an episode of Idol go head-to-head with a new episode of Lost. I'm not surprised it was able to trounce a rerun. Read the full story here.
