American Idol went up against a new episode of Lost for the first time this season, but it had little effect on its ratings. The first hour of "American Idol" delivered a 13.4/21 at 8 p.m, but Idol's second hour actually improved, to 14.2/22 at 9 p.m, soundly beating the new episode of Lost. Read the full story here.
