If you haven't seen Adam Lambert's YouTube video of him singing "I Make You Crazy," you should really check it out here. I particularly like the crotch-grab at the 1:05 minute mark. It also is clear that his shoutiness was happening far before American Idol came along.

A Thursday edition of American Idol shook up the normal ratings order for the night, propelling FOX to a win over CBS. FOX averaged an 8.8 rating/14 share for the night, narrowly beating
CBS' 8.7/14 for the lead (the gap in total viewers was a little wider:
15.27 million for FOX vs. 13.95 million for CBS). ABC was a distant
third at 4.2/7, beating out NBC's 3.9/6. The CW earned a 1.3/2. Read the full story here.

Don't worry, awesome readers. There was a mix-up the last couple days about a new format for the American Idol recaps. We're not live-blogging in the sense of having a live chat. Last night was a one time misunderstanding on my part. Starting tonight we're back to regular recaps, the only difference being that they are going up AS the show is happening. American Idol went up against a new episode of Lost for the first time this season, but it had little effect on its ratings. The first hour of "American Idol" delivered a 13.4/21 at 8 p.m, but Idol's second hour actually improved, to 14.2/22 at 9 p.m, soundly beating the new episode of Lost. Read the full story here.
