Two 'Idol' Alums Dropping Big Projects Soon
First season American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson will debut a clip of her first video from her new album on Wednesday night's Idol broadcast. The song is called "My Life Would Suck Without You" and it's the first single off her new album All I Ever Wanted.
Season six third-place finisher Melinda Doolittle also has a new project coming out. Her debut album, Coming Back to You, drops into stores on February 3rd. Ann Powers of the Los Angeles Times says it is a vintage soul sound, reminiscent of Gladys Knight and early Aretha Franklin.
