Because I'm a superficial person, Kimberley Locke was only my second favorite Kim on the second season of American Idol, but that doesn't mean that it won't be nice to see her on Wednesday (March 26) night when she revisits the Idol stage.

Locke won't just be singing her new single "Fall," though. She'll also be wearing a specially designed couture dress designed by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. Even if her dress looks a little out-of-place in the woefully-not-couture world of American Idol, it's for a good cause.

Locke and Siriano will be auctioning the dress off starting Wednesday evening at www.clothesoffourbacks.org with funds going to support Camp Heartland, a national camping and care program for children impacted by HIV/AIDS.

"It's wonderful making a gown for a real woman who's comfortable and confident on stage as well as in what she wears. I wanted to accentuate the goddess in Kimberley," Siriano says in a statement.

The dress will be made from silk crepe satin and iridescent silk chiffon, whatever that means.

Usually I have sarcastic comments to make, but this sounds like a worthy cause, so good on both Locke and Siriano.

Meh. Kimberly Locke was much cuter when she was a little bigger. Now that she has lost a lot of weight, she has the Oprah/ET syndrome of a big bobbly-head that doesn't fit her skinny body.

Sorry!My sister and I hated the dress because it didn't flatter the size of woman shoved into it. The gown's bodice looked to be SIZE 32AAA and Kim's chest was uncomfortably cramped and flattened. The heavily layered skirt made Kim look 300 miles wide. Might've looked nice on a 98lb Model with a 15 inch waist, but, not on a voluptuous woman like our beautiful Kim.
